Fungus

What is Fungus?

A fungus is a single or multi-celled organism that can cause infection under certain circumstances.

Attention to Feet

Prevent fungus by keeping the feet clean, cool and dry. Change socks frequently and wear shoes that breathe, such as leather or natural materials. Do not wear plastic shoes.

Attention to Shoes

Along with ensuring you wear shoes that breathe, ensure they fit properly. Wearing shoes that are too tight will create an environment where fungi are more likely to thrive. Wear properly fitting shoes.

How Corium 21 Treats Fungus

Corium 21 is effective in treating fungus because it contains high-quality aloe vera, a variety with more healing properties than any other aloe. Corium 21 is formulated to penetrate deep into the skin's layers, healing and moisturizing from the bottom up. It stays with you, and the antiseptic, analgesic, and anti-inflammatory agents found naturally in the aloe work to fight the fungus and to relieve itching and discomfort. Corium 21 is very effective in treating a fungus.

Going Barefoot

Be very cautious about going barefoot. If you are in a locker room or around a public shower or pool, it is likely that you could pick up a fungus. Wear sandals or flipflops in such areas.

Using Clippers

A fungus can be passed on through nail clippers. You can even re-infect yourself by using clippers you just used. Have family members have their own clippers and wash and disinfect the ones you use.

Treat Family Members for Fungus

Since a fungus can be passed easily between family members, it is important to ensure all family members take responsibility to treat their fungus and to take precautions to prevent spreading.
