What is Rosacea?

Rosacea is a condition that appears as red bumps on the nose, cheeks, chin, and forehead. It can appear as small broken blood vessels and general inflammation of these areas of the face. The eyes can be affected with a burning sensation and red eyes and lids. In severe cases, the nose can become bumpy and enlarged. Rosacea usually affects people between the ages of 30 and 50. Although not "curable", it can be helped tremendously and the breakouts reduced and controlled.
